Ajay Devgns decision has upset his fans with #BoycottBhujOnOTT trending.

The recent news which surfaced earlier today about the release of Ajay Devgn’s Bhuj on the OTT giant Disney+ Hotstar has disappointed the fans of the star. The news is that Ajay Devgn is cracking a multi-film deal with Hotstar and “Bhuj: The Pride of India” is part of the deal too.
The fans are very upset with this news and have expressed their feelings on twitter with a hashtag, #BoycottBhujOnOTT, one of the fan wrote “Bhuj is a film that will teach the next generation a lot. The story is about the life of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, the then in-charge of the Bhuj airport who and his team reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 local woman @AbhishekDudhai6 BOYCOTT BHUJ ON OTT. Another fan wrote “Mega Star only deserves 70MM mega screen, not a 6-inch tiny screen.. @ajaydevgn Sir. BOYCOTT BHUJ ON OTT. There was a twitter handle which read “DISAPPOINTED DEVGN” too.
The novel coronavirus breakout has forced to shut down theatres across the globe and this trend of films directly landing OTT is platforms is happening all around the world where filmmakers are taking refuge under the direct to web release. Definitely, Ajay Devgn is no exception.
Bhuj – The Pride of India is a biographical drama which follows the story of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 reconstructed the IAF base with the help of 300 local women along with his team. The film stars Ajay Devgn playing Vijay Karnik followed by an ensemble of the cast which includes Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Pranita Subhash and Sharad Kelkar. The film is directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya.
The aforementioned multi-film deal also includes Abhishek Bachchan and Illeana D’cruz starrer Big Bull along with Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha’s Chhalaang. Both these films are produced by Ajay Devgn.
