Akshay Kumar OTT debut goes through drastic change in plans

Ever since the Khiladi star Akshay Kumar had made an official announcement involving his debut in OTT (Amazon Prime Video), his fan base found itself in high spirits and inevitable exhilarations. With the shoot supposedly scheduled to go on floors by this yearend, it has taken a drastic change in plans as it will be postponed to the second half of 2021. The show’s producer Vikram Malhotra says that the pandemic that arrived as an unheralded barricade has curbed down their plans. With four months into the Lockdown and still a long way to go for the normalcy to return, they have to consider the actor’s other project schedules as well. So, with an intact discussion among the team members, they have now decided to postpone the shooting by April 2021 and get the show released by the latter part of the year.

The producer also affirms that it’s a big project with each and every minute detail in the script having more prominence. So changing or altering the script for the shoot to kick-start at the earliest isn’t a right choice.
