An ultra-upgrade boon for Disney+ Hotstar subscribers

Few weeks ago, we had reported that Disney+ Hotstar is all set to offer an immense movie watching experience to subscribers with 4K HDR resolution and the testing process had already commenced. And now, the big boon news is that the brand has started testing content with 4K UHD resolution with TOGO being the first movie to be featured. This comes with a bit rate up to 22.4 Mbps. It all started by last night (29th July, 2020) and it is available on Android TV, Amazon Fire Stick 4K alone along with Dolby 5.1 audio technology. So don’t expect the same features out there in the laptop and any other devices.

Apart from these extraordinary features, Disney+ Hotstar is also testing with 4K HDR resolution, which will be available on Amazon Fire Stick 4K and Android TV for now. What’s more intriguing is the fact that the platform is vividly working towards the operation with Dolby Vision, HDR10 AND HLG functionality.
