Applause Entertainment's next in the 'Scam' series on Sony LIV is Abdul Karim Telgi

Continuing the 'Scam' series on the streamer Sony LIV, Applause Entertainment announced on Thursday that the second part after 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story' is going to be 'Scam 2003: The Curious Case of Abdul Karim Telgi', revolving around the 2003 stamp paper scam whose value was apparently 20,000 crores across India. Written by Marathi industry's veteran writer Kiran Yadnyopavit along with author/journalist Sanjay Singh, the series will be directed by the National Award winner Hansal Mehta based on SIngh's 'Reporter ki Diary' (A Reporter's Diary). Sanjay Singh, the veteran journalist and news reporter is credited with breaking the story of Telgi back in 2003. The news was first broken by Fimistan.
