Analysis

Clouds is a complete package, giving us all the tears, smiles and feels. The movie dwells a faith in the human mind that anything is possible. The bonding within the Sobiech family and with their close friends keeps the movie more on the happier note, despite the existing sadness. The sentiments that this movie brings is astonishing and keeps you going throughout. Even after several rounds of chemotherapy and after having his condition declared as terminal, Zach holds a peppy sense of humour and a chirpy attitude throughout. The movie is natural and realistic and develops a strong emotional connection with the audience. Being based on a true story, the faith and the realization of how precious one’s life is, is accurately conveyed. The musical partnership between Zach and Sammy adds even more spice to the movie.

Performances

Fin Argus gives a remarkable performance as Zach Sobiech as this character is definitely challenging and emotional at the same time. It required Argus to be able to adapt to the different moods that a sick individual possesses and was aptly conveyed by Argus. Sabrina Carpenter shines throughout in being the supportive best friend and always having Zach’s back. Neve Campbell who plays Zach’s mother gave a strong and bold presence throughout the film. The rest of the cast did justice to their roles as well.
