Ravi (Jayam Ravi) is a happy-go-lucky school-going student in 1999. Just when he was about to propose his sweetheart Nikitha (Samyuktha Hegde), he met up with an accident and goes into a coma. 16 years later, Ravi wakes up to find that his sister got married to his close friend Mani (Yogi Babu) and everything has been technologically upgraded in Chennai city. However, Ravi's life is stuck in the past, and he struggles to adapt to the modern life. Another major setback is that his skill set does not match the modern day job demand. To overcome the financial setback of his sister's family, Ravi agrees to work as a security at a museum where he finds his family statue, which is now quite popular in the country as it belongs to ancient kingdom. However, a crooked politician named MLA Dharmaraj (K. S. Ravikumar) tells the media that the multi-crore worth statue belongs to him and not to anyone else. Now, Ravi should find a way to get the statue and get back his sister's property which was pledged in a bank to take care of his medical expenses.
