Disney Animation brings cheer to homebound families with 'At Home With Olaf -- weekly, Frozen-inspired animated shorts
Disney has been doing its bit to bring joy to homebound families caught in the Coronavirus outbreak. It released Frozen 2 and Onward on its streaming service much earlier than planned. And now, its animation arm, Disney Animation, has come up with another innovation to bring cheer to its millions of fans across the globe.
Disney Animation has launched a new weekly series of short animated videos, called 'At Home With Olaf'.
Disney Animation's renowned animator, Hyrum Osmond, the creative brain behind Olaf, everyone's favourite snowman from Frozen 1 and 2, is also the creator of the series of short animated videos featuring Olaf. He even recruited Josh Gad's help to lend his voice to the animations. Josh Gad is the actor who voices Olaf in the Frozen movies. Both luminaries have chipped in with their share of work while working from home.
Jennifer Lee, head of Disney Animation and the director of Frozen 1 and 2, took the initiative to launch the series of shorts for the benefit of their viewers.
The title of the series 'At Home With Olaf' is perfect for the currently prevailing situation as millions of people are cooped up at home with lockdowns in their respective countries to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The digital series can be watched on the official social media handles of Josh Gad and Disney Animation.
