Dispel the Coronavirus gloom with Tahira Kashyap Khurrana's online series of heartwarming stories, 'The Lockdown Tales'
Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, consummate storyteller, skilled director and spouse of Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, has done exactly what we expect her to do - she's begun an online series of stories on her Instagram account, called 'The Lockdown Tales'. As the title conveys, the stories are simple tales of simple people, chronicling how they've been affected by the lockdown amidst the Coronavirus outbreak.
The purpose of the series is but one - to dispel the gloom, cheer up people and bring much-needed succour into the long, tedious, lockdown period.
Wrote Tahira on her Instagram, "Storytelling has been a part of our culture and it has always fascinated me. Though we are living in tough times, let’s not let the lockdown lock our spirit. Unleashing the various characters and stories that have been brimming inside of me, I present to you this series called THE LOCKDOWN TALES. And the first story is 6 FOOT DUUR. Written and narrated by me. #TheLockdownTales. Packaged by @packuppictures."
The stories are written and presented by her, and they're a joy to listen to - that is, the first one certainly is. It's called 'Six Feet Duur', and it's up there on Tahira's Instagram.
