HBO Max greenlights 'Minx' headlined by Ophelia Lovibond and Jake Johnson

The comedy pilot from Lionsgate with Ophelia Lovibond and Jake Johnson in the lead, 'Minx' has been given a ten-episode series order from HBO Max. Directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg who also executive produced the pilot, the series also stars Idara Victor, Jessica Lowe, Lennon Parham, Michael Angarano and Oscar Montoya. As reported by Deadline, the logline of the series reads thus, "Set in 1970s Los Angeles, Minx, written by Rapoport, centres around an earnest young feminist (Lovibond) who joins forces with a low-rent publisher (Johnson) to create the first erotic magazine for women."

Lionsgate is the Studios for the series and it is being created by Ellen Rapoport, Paul Feig’s Feigco Entertainment and Lionsgate Television. Rapoport is also the writer of the show and will serve as showrunner and executive producer alongside Feig and Dan Magnante for Feigco Entertainment.
