HBO Max to make movie based on investigative journalist's book on UFOs

HBO Max, New Line and producer Laura Bickford have come on board to make a movie revolving around UFO secrets and investigations held by the American government. The script penned by Bryce Kass is inspired by and optioned on investigative journalist Leslie Kean’s 2010 New York Times bestseller UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record.

The movie will revolve around Luis Elizondo while he was the head of the Pentagon Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) and Christopher Mellon, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, who helped bring the previously secret Pentagon program and its official UFO videos to light in 2017. Mainly it will tell the story of Kean's journey to uncover the secrets of the strange aerial phenomena that has been making humans curiouser over the decades and that which was recently brought to light through reports from New York Times, Fox News, The New Yorker among others.
