This original on Amazon Prime Video, created by TVF features Adarsh Gourav as Ankit, Nikhil Vijay as Jhantoo and Luv as Chirag. The dialogues truly resonate the college slang. There are nicknames aplenty that transport you to your real-life college and hostel life as well.  The punchlines and the well-timed dialogues are the essence of the entire series.

The background music and a few tracks span through the series, however, their impact is minimal. The visuals of the show match up to the script demands well. The well-devised hostel setup, the ragging portions and the aesthetics of the show make it a delightful watch.

TVF’s Hostel Daze is a perfect weekend getaway for all those who wish to relive their hostel-life adventures along with friends. The web series shares similarity with Kota Factory but, but the enhanced humour quotient benefits the series well. This one is a must-watch for those people who have either entered or are planning to enter hostel life.

Depicting the reality of college and hostel life, Hostel Daze is a treat mirroring the travails of engineering students living in hostels. The show contains all those essential characters you come across in a hostel group. The punchlines are perfect, the emotional moments fit the bill too. Yet, more often than not, you would be jumping off your seats with the humour.

The series has been written by Sameer Saxena and Saurabh Khanna and directed by Raghav Subbu. Incidentally, this is TVF’S first web series that has been created exclusively for Amazon Prime Video. The content is great, even though predictable. If you are planning to watch a mood lightening and relatable series this week, this one is a perfect treat.
