It’s Time to Say Goodbye to the Tanners with Fuller House: The Farewell Season
After five seasons of revisiting the lovable Tanner household, it’s time to say goodbye. Fuller House, which was a generation jump reboot of the hit ‘90s sitcom Full House, premiered on Netflix in 2016. It was announced sometime late last year that this season would be it's last, and the first half of the closing season was dropped in December. An emotional trailer for all that’s left was dropped last week.
As we bid farewell to sisters DJ and Stephanie, and their best friend turned housemate Kimmy, we see them all get their happy endings with weddings for the two sisters. Yes, DJ will finally get hitched to her longtime boyfriend and high school sweetheart Steve. "For over 30 years, we've been family," the trailer's intro says, before interspersing some important comedic and emotional moments from this season as well as the original show.
Fuller House also stars Bob Saget, John Stamos and Dave Coulier (original Full House cast members) who make guest appearances. Lori Loughlin, who plays Aunt Becky, will not be returning for the season.
Tune into Netflix on June 2, 2020, to watch the Fuller House series finale.
