Story Amazon Prime’s Just Add Magic is back in a better than ever avatar this season but there is something that is missing through the show. The best thing about the story is the portrayal that “Magic is for Real”. These imaginative kids keep enticing the audiences with their journey of finding new ingredients required for their magical recipe. Coming to the storyline, it revolves around these three friends who stumble over a mysterious cookbook that later turns out to be magical. The series has been co-produced by Joanna Lewis, Kristine Songco and Nancy Cohen. The story starts after the revival of the magic garden. Becky casts a mistaken spell that changes the course of time and their Grandma re-emerges from 1975. As the story goes, the Saffron Falls endure spells from their garden plants as a potential side effect of bracing the magical garden. The magic girls then have to devise a decoding spell for breaking into the bunker before anyone else does. Undoubtedly, this season is nothing like the previous seasons and needed a little more magic. The 11 episode series is available on Amazon Prime Video and can be one of the choices for your weekend. However, the story goes a little childish to allure the grownups. The twists are beautiful as they trail towards their journey of finding the spices and the other ingredients that were found long back in the historical times. If you are looking for a non-cartoon version with intelligence on board, this one can be a great choice for the kids but, for the elder ones, definitely, it needed a little more plot.
