Viewers had been waiting with breathless anticipation for the Azaadi Ke Liye song from Amazon Prime Video's upcoming Original web show, The Forgotten Army, ever since the streaming platform had described it on its Twitter handle.

And today afternoon, when Amazon Prime Video dropped the song, titled 'Azaadi Ke Liye' - The Freedom Anthem, on its social media handles, we knew the wait was totally worth it. The song is a crucial element of the much-awaited Amazon Prime Video Original, The Forgotten Army. It is a soul-stirring number, with the beats and lyrics rousing enough to move the listener to tears and give them goosebumps.

As soon as one listens to the song, one is transported back to that heady time in History, when freedom for its beloved India was all that the youth of the country cared about. It is an apt tribute to the brave hearts who died for the country in the course of the freedom struggle so that the country could enjoy freedom.

he Forgotten Army is the much-awaited next Original web series from Amazon Prime Video. It delves deep into the truth of the Azad Hind Sena, brought together by fiery freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose, to stand up against the British.

It marks the web debut in direction, of Bollywood director Kabir Khan. Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari Wagh play leads on the show, besides a stellar ensemble cast.

The Forgotten Army is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video on 24th January 2020.
