Kevin Hart starrer 'Fatherhood' to release on Netflix celebrating Father's Day

Netflix has gained the licence to distribute the Kevin Hart starrer drama 'Fatherhood' across the globe except from China. The project comes from Sony Pictures and the Obamas' Higher Ground Productions. The feature will be releasing on June 18, just shy of Father's Day. Penned by Dana Stevens and Paul Weitz, 'Fatherhood' is directed by Weitz and follows Hart as a single dad who brings up his baby girl after the unexpected death of his wife a day after their daughter’s birth. The film is based on the true story authored by Matthew Logelin called, Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss & Love.
Marty Bowen, Kevin Hart, David Beaubaire, Peter Kiernan produce the film while Betsy Danbury, Aaron L. Gilbert, Jason Cloth, Bryan Smiley, Jaclyn Huntling Swatt, Isaac Klausner, Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin executive produce. Apart form Hart, the film stars Academy Award Nominee Alfre Woodard (Juanita, Clemency), Lil Rel Howery (Bad Trip, Get Out), DeWanda Wise (Someone Great, Jurassic World: Dominion), Emmy Award Nominee Anthony Carrigan (Barry, Gotham), Melody Hurd (Them) and Golden Globe Nominee Paul Reiser (Mad About You, The Kominsky Method)
