Sajid Ali -
The much-awaited Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya made its digital debut on Netflix at midnight. The film is an official remake of Malayalam film Maheshinte Prathikaaram. Since its digital debut the film has been appreciated by the fans and it has been raking in really good reviews. Director Venkatesh Maha of C/O Kancharapalem did a fantastic job in rendering this remake which made a place of its own without aping the original.
However, the team couldn’t bask in all the glory due to an ugly turn because of a scene in the film where two characters is seen arguing which of their actor is the best in the Telugu Film Industry. And the actors in argument were NTR and Mahesh Babu. The comments and trolls from an actor in the film about the said actor did not bode well with Mahesh Babu neither his loving fans. The director of the film and the team are in news for wrong reasons and the fans are refusing to calm down until the team of Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya officially apologizes to the actor Mahesh Babu.

This is not the first a film has come into trouble due to references of big stars in the film in comical way. For instance, Tamil film Comali was in such trouble when a scene made a comedic reference of Superstar Rajinikanth foraying into politics. The team officially apologized in a video to pacify the fans of the actor.
Now, we’ll have to wait and see if the team of UMUR comes forward to comment on this matter.
