Meghan Markle to give voice to the Disney Plus nature documentary, 'Elephant'
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has given the voice-over for the soon-to-be-released 'Elephant' on Disney Plus. The show is a nature documentary which will premiere on Disney Plus on 3rd April, in view of it being Earth Month. 22nd April is celebrated as International Earth Day across the world.
'Elephant' is a documentary that will track a pack of elephants migrating from one part of the African jungles to another, over a distance of 1000 kilometres. Disney Plus recently revealed a trailer for the upcoming documentary, though there was no Meghan Markle voice-over in the trailer.
Meghan Markle has made it clear in recent times that she is keen to take up work in the entertainment industry, as the younger British royals, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, seek financial independence outside of the British monarchy.
Markle was essaying an integral role in popular legal drama Suits, but she exited the show before marrying into the British Royal family.
The voice-over work for the Disney Plus show is the first she has taken up after a very public move by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex towards leading a more private life.
