Mystic Quest Raven’s Banquet special episode holds a virtual meeting entirely shot on iPhone!
This will be a special half an hour episode to stream on Apple TV+. This Quarantine special will find the team behind the biggest multiplayer video game trying to hold a virtual meeting. This lockdown has been tough on every one of us. Especially to those work-from-home techies who are all-time tasked to keep developing it. Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao) and Ian (Rob McElhenney) seem to be struggling with solitude, while Brad (Danny Pudi) and David (David Hornsby) embark on a charitable competition.
While lots of workplaces are figuring out the whole working from home task, the gaming industry is a part of the herd too. That being said virtual meetings have moved to a different level of hell and most of the people will relate to this episode quoted by McElhenney.
The task was to shoot this episode without compromising the quality. Thankfully, we’re living in a digital age where everyone’s got a camera in their pocket. With an iPhone and the ingenuity of their crew allowed them to make this piece of television in just days.
This episode is written by co-creators and executive producers McElhenney & Megan Ganz along with executive producer and star Hornsby. The ensemble cast also includes Charlotte Nicdao, Imani Hakim, Ashly Burch, Craig Mazin, Naomi Ekperigin, Caitlin McGee, and Humphrey Ker.
The 9 episode show is currently streaming on Apple TV+ since February 2020, which focuses on the challenges faced by the video game developers running a popular video game. And this special half an hour episode will be streaming from May 22nd, 2020 on Apple TV+.
