Netflix and Archewell Productions' first project to be docuseries on Invictus Games

Netflix has given a direct to series order for a documentary on The Invictus Games in collaboration with Prince Harry and Meghan Markel's Production house Archewell. The docuseries, titled Heart of Invictus is the first order of business in the multi-million-dollar deal with the streaming service. Orlando von Einsiedel is set to helm the multi-episode docuseries along with Joanna Natasegara. Harry, the Duke of Sussex will appear on camera and serve as Executive Producer on the series alongside The Invictus Games Foundation, which he is the patron of.
The Invictus Games which was launched in 2014, following the footsteps of The Warrior Games has injured officers who have suffered life-changing injuries or illnesses from all across the world engage in sports. The docuseries will follow the service members as they train for the upcoming Invictus Games in The Hague as well as the organizers as they work to prepare for the Games, postponed until next Spring, and as they partner with each nation’s team to support their competitors over the coming year. The next Invictus Games is set to be held in 2022.
