Outer Banks renewed for second season.

Outer Bank is an action-adventure teen drama which premiered on Netflix, April 15th, 2020. The series received a good response and held a formidable ground which garnered fans in no time.
Outer Banks follows a group of teenagers based in the Outer Banks of North Carolina who are called “Pogues”, who reside at “The Cut (Pleasure Island)”. They’re on a mission to find out what happened to their missing father and the ring leader, John B. Along the way; they discover a legendary treasure that is tied to John B’s father. I no time they’re chased by the law and the wealthy and a superior group called the “Kooks”. How the Pogues overcome these obstacles forms the crux of the series.
The series had all the ingredients which were required of the genre and involved teens on a treasure hunt doing the “Into the Blue”. Outer Banks was a perfect getaway which is dubbed as guilty pressure among the viewers.
But the fans were disappointed when Outer Banks was supposedly fell into the list of series which were getting shelved after their first season. Apparently the series didn’t have a cliffhanger script; still, fans wanted the makers to take this forward.
Outer Banks creators Jonas Pate, Josh Pate and Shannon Burke are in the process composing storyline for the series to take it forward. Due to the current pandemic conditions, the work is moving at a slow pace. It is said there might be more than just second season. Even though there’s no official statement from the streaming giant Netflix on the matter, looks like the fans can rest assured there might be a new season sometime by 2021.
