The Viral Fever steps into the short film domain with TVF Spotlight, to premiere first short 'Chosen Few' on 21st April
Close on the heels of its latest success Panchayat, The Viral Fever has now stepped into the domain of short films. Short films are witnessing a resurgence in recent times, with every OTT platform, content creator and filmmaker making a beeline for creating meaningful ones.
The Viral Fever, popularly known as TVF, has begun a dedicated subdivision called TVF Spotlight, which will cater to the creation and release of short films. TVF is also all set to release its first short film under the newly formed space. The film is called 'Chosen Few', and it is a far cry from the usual humourous, slice-of-life offerings from TVF.
Chosen Few is in fact a hard-hitting film on the very sensitive and harsh subject of child prostitution. It follows the story of special police officer Abhay Joshi, as he ventures into the dark underbelly of the scourge of child prostitution in the city. The narrative follows the tagline of the film - "Those who don't seek comfort, but the risky path of truth.....are the Chosen Few.
Chosen Few features Vikram Kochhar, Faezeh Jalali, Atroliya Uday, Namash Bhardwaj and Divya Jagdale in pivotal roles. The film has been directed by Rohit Mittal and produced by Mrinal Pant and Krutika Mehta.
Chosen Few premieres on TVF Play and on YouTube tomorrow, 21st April. Have a look at the trailer on TVF Play's official Instagram account -
