Trailer Touchdown: Addham: Looks like a character(s) driven plot with an emotional backdrop

The first impression after watching ‘Addham’ trailer is that it brings up an assurance that Aha has an impressive presentation to offer its subscribers. With most of its erstwhile Originals sticking to a mediocre graph, this one looks somewhat promising. The series based on an anthology of three stories – The Unwhisperable Secret, Crossroads and The Road that never end has the newly launched trailer with 1 minute 45 seconds of running length. The core premise of these stories and the nature of characters are conveyed clearly in a limited span. Such an attempt deserves special mention.  Well, with most of the artistes and technicians hailing from Tamil film industry, it might initially look slightly outlandish. However, emotional values will surely diminish these constraints. These are the talented actors in the South Industry, who have been waiting for the right breakthrough. The musical score and visual presentation are good. Jayaprakash is a special surprise as we often see him an elite-club character. The character-driven plots always have the potentials to win the attention of universal audiences. In this aspect, Addham has more possibilities to score the brownie points.

While the Unwhisperable Secret is written and directed by Siva Ananth, Road that never ends is helmed by Sarjun KM and Crossroads by Barath Neelakandan. K Sundaramurthy has composed music for the entire series, and National award-winning Sreekar Prasad has edited it.
