Trailer Touchdown: Apple TV+’s ‘Becoming You’ will fill your heart up.
Apple TV+ launched the trailer for its upcoming six-part docuseries, ‘Becoming You,’ today, which offers a look at how children are brought up around the world, thus becoming the people they are.
The series is narrated by Academy Award-winner Olivia Colman and features 100 children from 10 countries around the world, all of whom have been examined for the first 2000 (roughly 5 years) of their life. As the narration goes, the show is about how they learn to speak, think, and love, thus reflective of the specific environment and culture surrounding the child. The trailer is extremely heartening in the way it shows a bond between the child and their parent, but also with their sense of self and nativity. And of course, there is nothing cuter than watching these kiddos expressing themselves, questioning the world, and interact with their loved ones.
Becoming You is directed by Tom Barbor-Might, who has been recognized globally for his documentaries. Hamo Forsyth serves as showrunner with Tim Lambert and Leanne Klein executive producing. The series is available for streaming on Apple TV+ on Friday, November 13.
