The character of Feluda has been a much-beloved one for generations of Bengali audiences, and Addatimes now brings him to the digital arena. In Feluda Pherot: Chinnomawstar Obhishaap, Prodosh Chandra Mitter a.k.a. travels to Hazaribagh with his nephew Tapesh a.k.a. Topshe and acclaimed mystery writer Lalmohan Ganguly a.k.a Jatayu. On their journey, they bump into Preetindra Chowdhury, the younger son of Hazaribagh-based advocate Mahesh Chowdhury. A number of events transpire in Mahesh Chowdhury’s household which are questionable. There’s also the matter of a tiger who runs away from the neighbouring circus. Are these two separate incidents, or will Feluda figure out what’s going on before it’s too late?
Adapted and directed by Srijit Mukherji from a short story by the late Satyajit Ray, the series stars Tota Roy Chowdhury as Feluda, Kalpan Mitra as Topshe and Anirban Chakrabarti as Jatayu. The cast also includes Dhritiman Chatterji, Rishi Kaushik, Samadarshi Dutta, Poulomi Das and others.
