The trailer of Anurag Basu’s upcoming film ‘Ludo’ is finally out. The film boasts of a cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Rohit Saraf, and Pearle Maaney.

Ludo centres around four pairs of people, all of whom have different motivations in life. By a twist of fate, all of their paths cross and they are all forced to try and win at the game of life. This is Basu’s second anthology film after Life… in a Metro, a similarly themed film where multiple stories intersect at a point.

Some of the best moments from the trailer are those of the whimsy found in its key characters - Abhishek Bachchan taking instructions from a young girl whom he has kidnapped, Rajkummar Rao putting on a Mithun da act, Aditya Roy Kapur who knows both about history as well as ventriloquism, and Pankaj Tripathi as a gangster who decimates people with quirky dialogue. Ludo is a proper crime caper, and we hope that the other cast members of the film also manage to get some well-rounded characterization.

The film has interesting and colourful visuals flashing forward to the sounds of Pritam, who has collaborated with Basu on multiple occasions. Produced by T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions, Ludo will hit Netflix on November 12 as a Diwali release.
