It's the season of regional releases on OTT platforms and here's the latest to join the list. Telugu film Miss India has officially confirmed its spot for a Netflix release, with the date being said as the 4th of November. The platform has dropped the trailer on their own handle and YouTube channel, this morning.
Miss India might sound like this is going to be a film about a beauty competition or so, but the story is indeed about a woman who is crazy about upbringing her own business. Keerthy Suresh gets into the groove as a businesswoman who puts up an idea of selling Indian 'chai' in a foreign country. As like every other business, there are villains here and in the form of Jagapathi Babu.
The trailer is packed with glossy visuals that convey the storyline and the mood of the film. Though there is a slight pretentious feel about the whole thing, it looks like this film will fall in line with the pulse of the audiences. Thaman's score is a big positive as the track played in the trailer is impressive.
Look forward to Miss India on the 4th of November, on Netflix.
