Perhaps, a long wait that kept the entire buffs of South Indian OTT base has finally savoured them. Netflix India has unveiled the full-length trailer of Paava Kadhaigal, which is regarded as the first-ever Tamil Originals based on an anthology. The collection of four stories helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, Vetrimaaran, Sudha Kongara and Vignesh Shivan has the trailer with a running length of 1 minute 57 seconds. The ensemble star-cast as everyone knows comprises Prakash Raj, Simran, Sai Pallavi, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Anjali, Kalki Koechlin, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Kalidas Jayaram, and few more prominent artistes.
The trailer opens bright and elated moods, but sooner shifts to the ghastly dark conflicts. In other words, the evil thoughts doomed inside the human minds, which lets them commit some of the gruesome deeds in the name of honour and prestige. In all the stories, we come across such instances that include a father torturing his pregnant daughter, a mother pushing her daughter from the cliff, a transgender son getting offended by his family and a girl who admits about her homosexual relationship getting a lash from her father. It’s great to see that Netflix prepares the audiences with a blatant presentation rather than hiding the premise. It, in fact, gives a distinct view about what the film is and will let audiences opt it for full length viewing from December 18, 2020. The musical part looks so nice and in the latter part, we can sense inspiration from Netflix’ Sacred Games Theme.
