After a wait of more than two years, Somnath Maitra is back. In the first season, Somnath had tried to solve the mystery surrounding the death of Vaidehi, the lead vocalist of the band Euthanasia. The trailer for the second instalment of Shei Je Holud Pakhi shows Somnath teaming up with no-nonsense cop Anuradha Mukherjee, as they piece together clues hidden in Vaidehi's lyrics and round up suspects in her life, including pub owner Diganta Bose and rival band vocalist Rik Chatterjee. But as Somnath and Anuradha race against time to solve the case, is Vaidehi's death somehow connected to Somnath's past?
 
Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, Shei Je Holud Pakhi S2 stars Tridha Choudhury, Saswata Chatterjee, Gourab Chatterjee, Kaushik Sen, Rupanjana Mitra, Angana Roy, Rajat Ganguly, Chandreyee Ghosh, Soumendra Bhattacharya, Shoumo Banerjee, Prantik Banerjee, Sudip Mukherjee, Bidipta Chakraborty, Indranil Mullick and Arunava Dey. Raja Narayan Deb has scored the music for the season, which will premiere on Hoichoi on April 14, 2021.
