MX Player is going all guns blazing with its Tamil content. Weeks after the gangster show Kuruthi Kalam, the OTT platform has lined up another original series, Vadham, a cop saga featuring Sruthi Hariharan, Ashwathy Warrier, Semmalar Annam, Preethisha Premkumaran and Vivek Rajgopal in key roles. Directed by Venkatesh Babu, the series’ trailer was released on Tuesday.

Vadham revolves around inspector Sakthi Pandiyan, who is deputed to investigate a murder of an influential businessman. Sakthi heads a team of all-women police officers and the truth that she unravels over the course of the investigation shocks her beyond imagination.

There comes a time when Sakthi has to choose between law and her conscience. Will the cop’s quest for justice be fulfilled? The hard hitting trailer promises to be a popcorn-worthy outing filled with lots of drama and action. Vadham  releases in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu on February 12.
