Netflix has truly been trying to capture the attention of young adults all through this Corona Virus season, with a constant inflow of shows catering to the particular audience base. Next in line is Warrior Nun, a fun-filled show from Simon Barry, the creator of Continuum.
In Warrior Nun, a 19-year-old girl Ava wakes up in a morgue with special superpowers and an attachment on her back. This leads her to both chaos and comfort, as she's pulled into a secret society of nuns who come together to save the world from evil. With all the various team members and enemies coming to the fore, Ava has to fight all the odds and come up as the winning chosen one.
The trailer of Warrior Nun gives us a clear idea of what's coming, offering a taste of all the elements that the show offers such as comedy, fantasy, mystery, action and more. The show seems to have been rolled out on a big scale, with multiple characters and intriguing situations. There seems to be a good load of action sequences and VFX as well, mirroring similar films from Hollywood.
All in all, Warrior Nun looks to be the exciting new show to binge on Netflix, when it drops on the 2nd of July. One thing's for sure, Netflix is doing its best to catapult more content into the young adult genre, drawing in the maximum attention from the age group.
