Trailer Touchdown: Wayne

When I saw this trailer it was like déjà vu and realized that it’s the same series which premiered on YouTube Premium in January 2019. It was one of the most acclaimed and appreciated comedy series which created major noise pulling subscribers to upgrade to premium services on YouTube.
Despite being well appreciated and acclaimed, Wayne was cancelled in August 2019. And it never saw the light of the day. With Amazon Prime Video releasing the first season all over again on its streaming platform, one can expect there might future to the series. But the fate of the series lies with the streaming giant; I believe they might consider a follow-up season depending on the numbers Wayne might generate once it’s released on Prime Video.
Wayne is an American action-comedy series created by Shawn Simmons, starring Mark McKenna (Wayne) and Ciara Bravo (Delilah) in the lead. The story takes place in Brockton, Massachusetts where Wayne sets out on a quest to bring back the 1979 Pontiac Trans Am that was stolen from his father before he died.
After the sudden death on YouTube, the first season of Wayne is making its way to Amazon Prime Video on November 6th, 2020.
