An exciting adventure reality show is headed to Amazon Prime Video in August. World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji will be a one of kind show which will attract the audience who don’t watch reality shows in general. The reality show has 66 teams. Each team will have 4 racers and an assistant crew member. Participants from 30 countries will compete in this non-stop race for 11 days and 671 Kms. The race will take place in the strenuous jungles of Fiji filled with oceans, jungles and mountains with toughest terrains.
This show will make a mark for the first time with a fully African American team in the competition. It also features former competitor, Mark Macy who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s with his son, Travis. The series will run for 10 episodes which were filmed pre-pandemic.
It gets more exciting, Bear Grylls who is known for his stupendous shows “Man Vs Wild” & “Running Wild” is producing this show along with Lisa Hennessy (The Biggest Loser) and Eric Van Wagenen (The Amazing Race).
The teaser trailer surely looks exciting and will be a different experience among the fictional shows we’ve been binging during the lockdown. And this will be an escape into nature in all its glory. Amazon Prime Video will be releasing this show in over 200 countries across the globe.
