Trailer Touchdown: Wakaalat From Home: Sumeet Vyas, Nidhi Singh and Kubbra Sait fail to impress in the trailer
The corona pandemic has ensured that many filmmakers and actors turn to the newest sensation in filmmaking - ZoomCalls. Several movies and series have been made via Videocalls and by using minimal teams who practice social distancing. Amazon Prime Video unveiled the trailer for its upcoming series Wakaalat From Home today. The series reunites Permanent Roommates stars Sumeet Vyas and Nidhi Singh, who play Sujin and Radhika, a married couple headed for a divorce. The series also stars Kubbra Sait and Gopal Datt who play their lawyers

Wakaalat From Home revolves around Sujin and Radhika’s divorce petition. As it is happening during the lockdown, the judge decides to move their hearing to Zoomcall.

From the trailer it doesn't seem too interesting or eye-catching. The story also seems quite tepid. The cast, we are sure had fun shooting for the series via Zoomcalls, but the story doesn't stand out. Lets hope that when the series releases, it offers a lot more than what the trailer has to say.

Directed by Rohan Sippy and written by Anuvab Pal, Wakaalat From Home will stream on Amazon Prime Video on September 10. The cast also includes Anuvab Pal, Rit Bahadur Bayalkoti, Dipesh Bhujal and Akarsh Khurana.
