Amazon Prime had previously announced the arrival of ‘Welcome to the Blumhouse’ – a four-film offering from the platform in collaboration with the producers of Get Out and Invisible Man. The four films would be released over a gap of one week, with two on October 6th and two more in the following week.
The trailers of the four films too, have been released in a combined format instead of having four separate ones. The first of the four is The Lie, a film which is said to revolve around the world of deception, after a teenage daughter confesses to her parents that she has killed her best friend. The second is Black Box, a film which focuses on a man undergoing an experimental treatment to forget his past. Both these films will release on the 6th of October.
Executive produced by Priyanka Chopra, Evil Eye is the next film on the list and follows a messy triangle between a mother, her daughter and her lover. The final film on the list is Nocturne, a terrifying thriller set on the race for greatness between two twin sisters.
All the four films look like they have been made on a measured scale, but with good visuals and some creepy scares. Let’s wait and see, as to which one is the best of them all.
